Star-Spangled Salute at The Pavilion

The holiday festivities begin on  July 3 with the Houston Symphony’s Star-Spangled Salute at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. The concert features a selection of patriotic favorites, American Classics, sing-alongs, and of course, Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture” complete with cannons from atop the hill.  The concert begins at 8 p.m. at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, and admission is FREE. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.

Fourth of July Parade

Wake up early on July 4th, put on your red, white and blue and get a prime viewing spot for the exciting South County Fourth of July Parade. The 1.3-mile parade begins and ends at The Woodlands United Methodist Church.The parade begins at 9 a.m., with marching bands, fire engines, clowns, horses and floats. A tent will be set up in front of The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion for senior citizens and the physically challenged to obtain relief from the summer heat. Roads in and near the route will be closed during the parade. View the parade map and road closures here.

Red, Hot, & Pool Day

Join us for a fun Fourth of July celebration at all 14 Township pools! Each pool will be decorated and feature a variety of activities including corn hole, sack races, ladder ball and more. Select pools will also have inflatables and log rolling. Refreshments available while supplies last. Pool pass or entry fee required: Village pools: $6 for residents and $12 for non-residents; Rob Fleming Aquatic Center: $15 for 48” and taller residents, $8 for residents under 48” and $30 for all non-residents.. 

Red, Hot & Blue Festival and Fireworks Extravaganza 

Celebrate freedom in The Woodlands with great food, live entertainment, children's activities and family fun at multiple locations around The Woodlands! The event culminates with one of the largest fireworks displays in the Greater Houston area. 

All sites will feature live music beginning at 6 p.m. with bands playing until the Fireworks Extravaganza at approximately 9:30 p.m.  For more information, please visit the Fourth of July in The Woodlands calendar event page.

Fireworks Launch Locations 

The 18-minute Fireworks Extravaganza will take place at approximately 9:30 p.m. The primary fireworks display will be located in Lake Woodlands adjacent to Northshore Park, with a secondary close-proximity (special effects) display at Town Green Park. The Fireworks Extravaganza will also feature a fireworks display in the Waterway Square District near Timberloch Place and Waterway Avenue and Rob Fleming Park in the Village of Creekside Park. To ensure spectators have the best fireworks visibility possible, fireworks teaser shots will be fired from all launch locations at 9, 9:10 and 9:20 p.m.
