The Woodlands Waterway Trolley

Town Center Trolleys
Two Town Center Trolleys provide transit service along an approximate 3.2-mile route, operating seven days a week, nine hours a day in the Town Center area. The free trolley service connects The Woodlands Mall, Market Street, businesses and residences along The Woodlands Waterway. Transit users include employees, residents and visitors to the numerous retail and office locations throughout the Town Center area.

The Woodlands Township funds half of the operating cost for the Trolleys and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grant funds awarded to the Township cover the remaining costs. The Brazos Transit District owns, maintains, and operates the trolleys on behalf of the Township. The Township and Brazos Transit District have executed an Interlocal Agreement that dictates terms and conditions of Trolley service.
