Construction Information
Woodlands Parkway at Grogan’s Mill Road
The Woodlands Development Company has begun the turning lane improvement project to the intersection of Woodlands Parkway at Grogan’s Mill Road. This project includes improvements to the turn lanes as well as the acceleration lanes. Crews are onsite and work is progressing as planned. Traffic changes are in place to facilitate travelers around any areas under construction. Currently northbound acceleration lane from Woodlands Parkway westbound to Grogan’s Mill north is being completed. Lane closures are at a minimum and working hours are expected to stay between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. The Woodlands Development Company has set a completion estimate for the end of March 2016.

Woodlands Parkway at Kuykendahl Road
Montgomery County Precinct 3 has begun construction at the intersection of Kuykendahl Road and Woodlands Parkway. This projects aim is to extend the turning lanes to help facilitate traffic. Work hours are between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. with minimal lane closures. Turn lanes will be closed intermittently during the project. Estimated time frame of completion is to be determined. Please be mindful of traffic changes and warning signs. Expected completion time is beginning of February.

Kuykendahl Road (Between Indian Hills Road and Timarron Drive)
Planned improvements on Kuykendahl Road, between Indian Hills Road and Timarron Drive, include building the missing half-boulevard to complete the 4-lane concrete boulevard section with the appropriate drainage system. 4-C Construction Services (Contractor) was given notice to proceed on February 17, 2016, with a construction contract of 60 days. The project has an expected completion date of April 17, 2016. Harris County expects minimal impact to the traveling public as this is a new 2-lane facility being built. Cross street traffic would continue to travel as normal and appropriate signage will be in place. Temporary one lane closures, during non-peak hours, are expected nearing the completion of the Project to accomplish final stripping.
