Next Watch Talk Wednesday discusses teens and drug use

THE WOODLANDS, Texas (February 21, 2014)— Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Special Agent Kenny Delgado will discuss Rising Drugs Among Teens and their Impact on a Community at the next Watch Talk Wednesday on February 26, 2014, from noon to 1 p.m. Watch Talk Wednesday will be held at The Woodlands Township Town Hall, 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard, in Public Meeting Rooms 150 and 152. Residents should enter through the Board Chambers entrance.

Special Agent Delgado will review the Drug Enforcement Administration background and mission, and then discuss the primary drugs among teens and the effects on a community. Subject matter will include marijuana and its myths, indoor grow effects, etc., synthetic drugs, bath salts and pharmaceutical abuse.

A program of The Woodlands Township, Watch Talk Wednesdays is a free monthly series that provides residents with information on crime prevention practices and resources, as well as general safety information.
