THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (August 13, 2014) – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, District 6, Crime Prevention Unit Deputy Brad Curtis and Deputy Jason Hopper will discuss the Basics of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design at Watch Talk Wednesday on August 27, 2014, from noon to 1 p.m. Watch Talk Wednesday is held at The Woodlands Township Town Hall, 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard, in Public Meeting Rooms 150 and 152. Residents should use the Meeting Rooms/Board Chambers entrance on the left/west side of the building.
The presentation will help residents understand the basics of why and how to trim landscapes, set alarms, use lighting features and more to help keep homes safe. Also, a representative from the Covenant Administration Department will be present to give a very brief overview of The Woodlands Covenants and Standards and provide information on the application process for these improvements, if needed.
A program of The Woodlands Township, Watch Talk Wednesday is a free monthly series that provides residents with information on crime prevention practices and resources, as well as general safety information. Light refreshments will be provided by H-E-B.
