Fall schedule for Concerts in the Park

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (August 29, 2014) – Celebrating years of family music and entertainment, The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department will kick off Concerts in the Park fall series on Sunday, September 7, 2014, at Northshore Park, 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive, with a performance by the Live Wire Band.

Concerts and festivities begin every Sunday at 5:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket, picnic dinner, and lawn chairs to enjoy a night of music with family and friends. Admission is free.

Northshore Park offers plenty of lawn space for tossing balls and Frisbees, a large playground, two sand volleyball courts and pathways. All bands are family-friendly.

Fall Concert Line Up:

  • September 7 – The Live Wire Band (Variety Band)
  • September 14 – Gary Michael Dahl (R&B/Jazz) & Go CRAZY with Corn!
  • September 21 – Black Dog (Led Zeppelin Tribute) & the 4th annual family sidewalk chalk competition (begins at 5pm)
  • October 5 – Nightbird (Stevie Nicks Tribute) & the 2nd annual make your own scarecrow competition
  • October 12 – Easy Money Band & Jack O Lantern Challenge
  • October 19 – A special Concert in the Park in conjunction with The Woodlands 40th Anniversary celebration

The Concerts in the Park series is produced by The Woodlands Township and sponsored by Munday Chevrolet.
