Don't Mess with Texas Trash-Off

Volunteer on Earth Day

In 2016, the annual Earth Day GreenUp will be a part of Texas’ signature cleanup event — the Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off!

Volunteers are needed to join or lead a cleanup crew to bag trash from community streets, parks, pathways and streams. You gather your friends, and we provide the bags. Afterwards, all are invited to a community-wide party at Northshore Park.

Event Registration

Registration is available online through April 1, 2016. A limited number of trash grabbers will be available for loan to groups that register on the website. Walk-up registration is also welcome on April 9, 2016, at 8 a.m., with check-in at designated parks in each village. All participants will receive gloves, trash bags, instructions and an assigned pick-up area at check-in.
