Celebrate July 4th in The Woodlands

The Woodlands Township Board of Directors invites residents and visitors to enjoy one (or all) of the many family-friendly Fourth of July festivities in The Woodlands!

This Independence Day wake up early to get a prime viewing spot for the annual South County Fourth of July Parade and then head on over to one of the Township's community pools for free games and activities at Splash Day. The celebration continues at Northshore Park for the annual "Things That Go" bike parade and decorating contest followed by a special Concert in the Park featuring The Spicolis. 

Don't forget to join us for the 19th Annual Red, Hot and Blue Festival where The Woodlands Waterway and Town Green Park come alive with live music, face painting, games and more. End the day with the Fireworks Extravaganza, one of the largest fireworks shows ever to be shot in The Woodlands. Holiday Notices for Residents

In observance of Independence Day, The Woodlands Township offices will be closed Monday, July 4, 2016. All offices will return to normal business hours Tuesday, July 5, at 8 a.m.

All solid waste services in the community will occur as usual. Waste Management will provide curbside pickup of trash, recycling and yard trimmings to all residents on their regularly scheduled service day. READ ON…


Fourth of July Parade
Roads to be Impacted by Parade
The South County Fourth of July Parade will take to the streets Monday morning at 9 a.m. with marching bands, fire engines, floats and more!

Celebrating the “Music of America,” the 1.3-mile parade begins and ends at The Woodlands United Methodist Church. Several roads will be closed during the parade. Residents are encouraged to download the parade route map and plan holiday travel accordingly. READ ON…

The Woodlands Covenants strictly prohibit the sale or use of home fireworks and sparklers of any kind in The Woodlands Township.
