Village Challenge: Conserve Water

The Township's annual Water-Wise Village Challenge kicks off Saturday, October 15, 2016! Residents are encouraged to turn off sprinkler systems this winter in an effort to conserve water.

Program sponsors will contribute scholarship money to the three village associations with the most points. Make the pledge today!

Compost Bin

Experience the Benefits of Composting

The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department offers free outdoor composting classes once a month between October and March. 

Each class offers information on the basics of composting, appropriate tools and equipment, tips on troubleshooting and problem solving.  There is also an opportunity to purchase a high quality C.E. Shepherd collapsible compost bin at a reduced cost.
