Join the Montgomery County Master Gardeners Saturday morning to learn more about backyard composting. A free program of The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department, the free class will begin at 10 a.m. 

Join us to learn and practice new composting skills, meet other like-minded residents, and return to your backyard ready to create useful compost!

Walk in the Woods: Foraging

Learn to identify, cultivate, harvest and prepare the bounty of the forest at the Environmental Services Department’s upcoming Walk in the Woods Nature Lecture on March 9, 2017. 

Mark "Merriwether" Vorderbruggen, a lifelong forager recognized for his knowledge of the historical, medicinal and culinary uses of local plants, will take attendees on a virtual adventure in wild dining during the FREE program.
