Responsibilities
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for developing employee policies and directing human resources activities such as recruitment, compensation, benefits, labor and employee relations and training for the 360 regular employees and 350 seasonal employees of The Woodlands Township. This position provides leadership to:

• Senior Human Resources Generalist (2)
• Human Resources Specialist
• Administrative Assistants (2)

About Susan Welbes
Mrs. Welbes joined The Woodlands Community Service Corporation in 1998. A graduate of The University of Houston – Clear Lake, she has more than twenty-five years of human resources experience. Mrs. Welbes is a charter member of the Montgomery County – Society of Human Resources Managers and served as this chapter’s president in 2008.
