When your regular service day follows the day of suspended service, put your trash out as usual. If it is not picked up that day, follow the procedure for a missed pickup. If service is suspended for more than one day, wait for your next service day and put out extra trash in bags as needed. No extra service tags are required in this case. Occasionally, severe weather follows a holiday schedule when pick up has already been pushed back a day. Trucks may not be able to catch up by Saturday evening. In that case, pull trash in on Sunday, and put it back out again on Monday when it should be picked up. You can call Waste Management at 800-800-5804 to confirm.
The Precinct 3 Citizens Collection Center is located at 1122 Pruitt Road. The hours are Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
