Cook-off teams enjoy an afternoon of spirited competition, live Zydeco music and family fun at the Muddy Trails Bash.

Teams will compete to create the best crawfish recipes in two categories: one awarded by the panel of judges, and another awarded by event spectators. An award will also be given for Best Decorated Tent and Best Cajun Dish.

Teams (up to eight members) will receive a minimum of 3 sacks of crawfish, serving containers, and a 10X10 tent, 1 table and 5 chairs. Each team must supply their own cooking materials and spices.

Fee: $150/team of 5, $5/extra member (up to 3)

Set up begins at noon; cooking begins at 1 p.m., Crawfish must be ready for tasting by 4 p.m.
