The 7th Annual Muddy Trails Bash is set for Saturday, April 5, 2014, with runners racing through George Mitchell Preserve Trails as they make their way to the finish line in at Rob Fleming Park. Please use this information on how to best navigate the the Village of Creekside Park on race day, and how to enjoy the race.
2013 Race Start Times:
ROAD CLOSURES! AVOID DELAYS – USE ALTERNATE ROUTES
- Kids Race – 3:30 p.m.
- 5K Race – 4 p.m.
- 10K Race – 4:15 p.m.
- 2K-9 Fun Run – 5 p.m.
- Creekside Forest Drive from the Round About to Great Heron Drive – closed from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Creekside Forest Drive from Great Heron to Lake Paloma Trail – Closed from 3 to 7 p.m.
Please use Creekside Green for accessing and moving within the Village of Creekside Park.
Harris County Constables will be responsible for closing and re-opening streets, they will do so in a manner ensuring runner and spectator safety. There will be a police officer at every intersection along the race route. Please follow their instructions when approaching streets on the course.
While the roads in your area will be closed, police will attempt to allow cars needing to get through, in particular from Aventura Place, if and only when there is a safe opportunity. Please allow yourself extra time if you have somewhere you have to be; avoid delays and use alternate routes, like CREEKSIDE GREEN DRIVE. Please refer to the map
