The Woodlands area tennis court facilities will host tennis tournaments for children ages 10 and younger on select Saturdays, February through May, 2013, from 2 to 4 p.m. The cost per child is $17 per tournament.

• Saturday, May 18, 2013

The tennis tournament program is headed by Township Tennis Instructor Vicky Champion and provides friendly competitive play close to home.

Tournaments are designed for the beginner, intermediate and advanced tournament players between the ages of 5 and 10. Players must know the basics of tennis and scoring; 9- and10-year-olds will be required to start the point off with a serve, while those between the ages of 5 and 7 can drop feed to start the point.
