Four at-large positions on The Woodlands Township Board of Directors will be elected in the November 2014 election, designated as positions 1, 2, 3, 4. Ballot positions for candidates who have filed are as follows:
Position 1: Gordy Bunch
Position 2: Ron Mullins, Mike Bass
Position 3: Ryan Elkins, Jeff Long, David Cassidy
Position 4: Jim Meszaros, Sharon Lavery, Ed Robb, Walter Boyd
Each office carries a two-year term and all four positions are elected at large by voters in The Woodlands Township in both Montgomery County and Harris County.

Candidates may file an application to appear on the ballot for one of the designated positions on regular business days between July 21, 2014, and the close of business at 5 p.m. on August 18, 2014. The deadline for filing a declaration of a write-in candidacy is also 5 p.m. on August 18, 2014.
An election information packet is available to those who wish to file for one of the designated positions at The Woodlands Township, located at 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard, The Woodlands, Texas 77381 or the filing packet can downloaded from www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov
. Filings are accepted on regular business days during the Township’s office hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In November 2010, the Township Board adopted Resolution No. 020-10 regarding the annual Board of Directors Election. This resolution was replaced in August 2013 with Resolution No. 012-13 (http://www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/documentcenter/view/3558
), which was updated to reflect participation in joint elections for Harris County polling sites.

Qualifications for Township Director:
- 18 years of age
- Resident of The Woodlands Township for past six (6) months
- Resident of Texas for past twelve (12) months
- U.S. citizen
- Mental Incompetence
- Conviction of Felony
A Declaration of Write-In Candidacy must be filed not later than 5 p.m. on August 18, 2014.
