The Woodlands Township November 3, 2015 Election
The first day to file for a position on The Woodlands Township Board of Directors is July 25, which is a Saturday. The Township is not required to be open this day, so the first day that filing forms will be accepted is Monday, July 27. The deadline to file is Monday, August 24, at 5 p.m. Please see the notice link on the left side of the page.
Consistent with past practice, filing packets will be available at the Township office and posted on the Township website approximately one week before filing begins.
Three at-large positions on The Woodlands Township Board of Directors will be elected in the November 2015 election, designated as positions 5, 6, 7.
Each office carries a two-year term and all three positions are elected at large by voters in The Woodlands Township in both Montgomery County and Harris County.
Qualifications for Township Director:
- 18 years of age
- Resident of The Woodlands Township for past six (6) months
- Resident of Texas for past twelve (12) months
- U.S. citizen
- Mental Incompetence
- Conviction of Felony
