Lake Woodlands Drive
Construction has begun on eastbound Lake Woodlands Drive. This work is to extend the turn lane from Lake Woodlands Drive to Six Pines Drive and the turn lane to the entrance to Pinecroft Center. With weather permitting, these lanes will be complete on April 10, 2015. Lake Woodlands Drive is narrowed to one lane in these areas. Please be mindful of the work crews and traffic change.

Harper's Landing
The roadways to Harper’s Landing are currently open and available for use. The use of the bypass gate is no longer necessary and will remain locked. S.J. Louis Construction will be moving back into the area in approximately two to three weeks (mid-April) to install a tunnel pit at I-45 North and the westbound side of Harper’s Landing Blvd. Concrete barriers will be installed around the pit and one lane of traffic will be allowed to flow out to I-45. The eastbound side of Harper’s Landing Blvd. will be unaffected. Crews will remain behind barriers for the duration of the project, but please remain observant while driving.

Lake Woodlands Turn Lane Extension

Construction has begun on eastbound Lake Woodlands at Grogan's Mill. The turning lane from Lake Woodlands onto Grogan's Mill is being extended and will require partial lane closure on the outside eastbound lane. Please be mindful of contractors in the area and plan your route accordingly to avoid delays.

New Traffic Signal Installations
Montgomery County Precinct 3 is set to begin construction at the intersections of Lakeside Blvd. at Lake Woodlands Drive and Lake Robbins Drive at Waterway Avenue for the installation of traffic signals. Work at these intersections is set to begin on Monday, February 2, 2015, with an estimated completion date of Thursday, April 30, 2015. Expect lane closures between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Be mindful of construction workers in the area and obey all traffic laws and road work signs.

I-45 Construction Project Updates
The City of Conroe is constructing a utility project at Harper’s Landing Blvd at I-45. Until traffic control plans are revised, advanced notices are sent and appropriate signage is erected, the contractor has been instructed by the City of Conroe to concentrate work along the shoulder of Trade Center Blvd. Montgomery County will open the gate on Ginger Springs/ Glen Haven to help with traffic flows once the contractor begins working on Harper’s Landing Blvd. The Township does not have authority over this project; however, as a courtesy, The Woodlands Township will include this and many major Road/Lane Closures on this page.
