Arts in the Park
Enjoy a spring afternoon with family and friends at Arts in the Park at Northshore Park, which also includes a Youth Arts Contest. The fall edition of Arts in the Park features Shakespeare in the Park at Rob Fleming Park, an evening showcasing a unique live theater and musical performance. In addition to a variety of delicious cuisine, attendees can view and purchase original artwork created by local artisans including woodwork, paintings, jewelry, photography and more. Children will enjoy a Kids’ Zone featuring bounce houses, a craft station (while supplies last) and other fun activities.
Bike The Woodlands Day
Celebrate Bike Month each May with Bike The Woodlands Day at Northshore Park. This event offers something for everyone including exhibitions by local bike shops and bicycle clubs, maintenance demonstrations covering basic bike maintenance and flat tire repair, bike safety information, children's activities, a kids' bike rodeo, live music, inflatables, food and more. Attendees are encouraged to bike to the event.
Labor Day in The Woodlands
This September, relax and enjoy the fruits of your labor at Labor Day in The Woodlands at Waterway Square! Featuring an evening of live music, children’s activities, strolling entertainers and fireworks, Labor Day in The Woodlands provides an exciting night out for all ages.
Lighting of the Doves
The Lighting of the Doves Festival is a long-standing November tradition in The Woodlands that signifies the start of the holiday season in the community. Featuring snow play areas, vendor booths, children’s activities and more, Lighting of the Doves culminates with a special appearance by Santa Claus arriving by sleigh down The Woodlands Waterway and a dazzling fireworks display at Town Green Park.
Memorial Day in The Woodlands
All are invited to celebrate Memorial Day in The Woodlands and honor our fallen heroes, as well as those who have served in the military. The annual festival in May features live music, children’s activities, strolling entertainers and more at Town Green Park. The evening concludes with a dazzling fireworks display choreographed to a patriotic soundtrack.
Patriot Day of Remembrance
Each year, The Woodlands Township holds a ceremony to honor the brave men and women who tragically lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The event is held at Central Fire Station. All are invited to attend.
Red, Hot & Blue Festival
Celebrate freedom in The Woodlands this 4th of July with vendor booths, great food, children’s activities and entertainment on multiple stages! This community-wide celebration offers fun for all ages. The event culminates with one of the largest fireworks displays in the Greater Houston area.
The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center
The Ice Rink operates from mid-November to mid-January and attracts over 50,000 skaters each season. The Woodlands Winter Wonderland adds to the festive atmosphere, illuminating Town Center during the holiday season. This alluring light display provides an amazing showcase of colorful holiday lights and storybook displays.
The Woodlands Township Veterans Day Tribute
Each November, residents and businesses of The Woodlands are invited to attend The Woodlands Township's annual Veterans Day Tribute at Northshore Park. The event features live music, speakers, Presentation of Colors and more.
Trick or Treat Trail featuring Monster Mash
Princesses, pirates, ghosts and goblins don their costumes and enjoy a spook-tacular celebration at the annual Trick or Treat Trail featuring Monster Mash at Rob Fleming Recreation Center. At the event, children have the opportunity to trick or treat from booth to booth and fill their bags with goodies from local vendors. The free event also includes strolling entertainment, carnival games, costume contests, photo areas, food trucks and more.
