Candidates in Ballot Order
Four at-large positions on The Woodlands Township Board of Directors will be elected in the November 2020 election, designated as positions 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Ballot positions for candidates who have filed are as follows:

- Jerry D. Smith, Jr.
- Gordy Bunch
- Jason J. Nelson
- Tom Chumbley
- Louis Granados
- Jimmie Dotson
- John Anthony Brown
- Dan Hannon
- Bruce Rieser
Each office carries a two-year term and all four positions are elected at large by voters in The Woodlands Township in both Montgomery and Harris County. Per the Township’s enabling legislation, a Director is not entitled to compensation for service on the Board.
To vote in The Woodlands Township election, you must be a registered voter in the county of your residence and a resident of The Woodlands Township.

The Woodlands Township contracts with Montgomery County and Harris County to manage elections in their respective areas of the Township.

August 17, 2020......... Last Day to File Application to Appear on Ballot for One of the Designated Positions (5 p.m.); Last Day to Order Election
August 21, 2020………. Last Day to File Declaration of Write-In Candidacy (5 p.m.)
October 5, 2020......... Last Day to Register to Vote
October 13, 2020....... First Day of Early Voting by Personal Appearance
October 30, 2020....... Last Day of Early Voting by Personal Appearance
November 3, 2020..... Election Day
