Smarter About Water Workshop
Saturday, January 13, 2018
Improve Your Irrigation to Conserve Water and Save Money!
Did you know the sprinkler heads in your landscaped beds can be converted to drip instead? Would you like to learn how to make that conversion yourself – in the correct way? The results will be healthier plants, decreased water usage and money saved!
Attend a workshop with a brief classroom session followed by an in-depth, hands-on demonstration of the parts, materials and methods to install a timer-controlled drip system to an outside faucet or convert an existing sprinkler head.
PLUS, at this same workshop, learn about creating, installing and maintaining rainwater harvesting barrels in your yard to capture rain and water your plants. You will see more water savings, and your plants will thank you for not using chemically-treated water.
Smarter About Water programs provide common sense, in-home applications to help you conserve water. The event is free to attend, but you must register. Space is limited and the event will happen rain or shine. Deadline to
register is Thursday, January 11, 2018, by 5 p.m.
