Due to unprecedented early voting turnout at the George Mitchell Library in Sterling Ridge, The Woodlands Township’s Trick or Treat Trail Drive-Thru Event has been relocated to the Sawdust Park and Ride.    

With the previous event location (Sterling Ridge Park and Ride) being adjacent to an early voting polling location, along with recent patterns of high traffic for early voting, the relocation will avoid potential voter impact to access the facility. Attendees must access the Sawdust Park and Ride from South Park Drive. All event traffic attempting to enter Westridge Road from Budde Road will be rerouted. 

The annual community-favorite Trick or Treat Trail will take place as a drive-thru event for 2020! Participants will receive giveaways, goodies and candies from local vendors and organizations. 

For Your Safety

For the safety of residents and event volunteers, the following guidelines are in place for this event:

• Residents are to remain in their vehicle at all times
• Wear a mask to protect yourself and volunteers.
• Pre-packaged candy and other items will be distributed to vehicle windows by use of 6' poles to maintain social distance standards.
• Drive slow, follow directional signs and watch for volunteers directing traffic.
• For the safety of all participants, please no bikes in the vehicle queueing areas.

 

PLEASE BE ADVISED

• Estimated wait times to reach the beginning of the trail could reach an hour or more. Signage will be placed to indicate estimated wait times.
• Restrooms are not available onsite. Please plan accordingly!
