An Introduction to Snake Identification - Online Class

Walk in the Woods Nature Lecture Series invites you to hear from experts who will reveal the extraordinary plants, wildlife and geography of East Texas.

Join us as Executive Director of Armand Bayou Nature Center and reptile enthusiast, Tim Pylate, dispels many of the common myths about snakes in East Texas and along the Gulf Coast.  By the end of this interactive presentation, attendees will know how to identify the venomous and nonvenomous snakes they might encounter in their own backyards or on a hike through The Woodlands.  Tim will be joined by some of the slithery ambassadors of the nature center.

The Spring 2021 Lecture Series will be presented online. Registration is required to receive the webinar link.

This series will be recorded and available for those who cannot attend the program. For more information, contact enviro@thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov or call 281-210-3800.
