National Bike Month is celebrated across North America in May. For the 9th consecutive year, The Woodlands will be also be celebrating this growing tradition with a myriad of fun events throughout the month, for cyclists of all ages and abilities.
The Woodlands Township will be recognizing National Bike Month in May, and has planned more than 15 individual activities and events throughout the month.
The highlight of May’s bike events will be “Bike The Woodlands Day” on Saturday, May 22, 2021. This event has something for everyone! The center of activities will be at Northshore Park. At this location, there will be exhibitors including local bike shops, bicycle clubs and other supporters of Bike Month. The event will also feature maintenance demonstrations covering basic bike maintenance and flat tire repair, bike safety information, a kids' bike rodeo, skills course, food trucks, live music and more. Attendees are encouraged to bike to the event! Kona Ice will be onsite from 9 to 10 a.m. ONLY to provide free snow cones, while supplies last, to those who ride their bikes to the event.

Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited. Those planning to attend the event should practice social distancing, refrain from gathering in large groups and continue following all guidelines established by the CDC when in public spaces and around others outside of your household. Masks are welcomed. Please note all information is subject to change, pending local, state and federal Orders or Declarations.
