Celebrate the Fourth of July in The Woodlands with a spectacular lineup of events providing entertainment for the whole family to enjoy!

Fourth of July Parade (July 3, 2021 at 9 a.m.)

Put on your red, white and blue and get a prime viewing spot for the exciting South County Fourth of July Parade. The 1.3-mile parade around The Woodlands features marching bands, fire engines, clowns, floats and more! Note: Roads will be closed during the parade; please view the route map for details. Stars at Night - A Salute to Service (July 3, 2021 at 8 p.m.)
Kick off America’s birthday celebration and pay homage to our local service heroes at Stars at Night – A Salute to Service. The Pavilion welcomes The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra to the Main Stage, Saturday, July 3 at 8 p.m and sponsored by Howard Hughes Corporation and Woodforest National Bank. This free Independence Eve pops spectacular features the Woodlands Symphony in a selection of patriotic favorites led by Artistic Director, Darryl Bayer. The event will also recognize service stars (teachers, first responders, medical teams and front line workers) during the pandemic. Tickets are not required for this event. Red, Hot & Pool (July 4, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.)

Each pool will have patriotic decorations, activities and refreshments (while supplies last). The Woodlands Red, Hot & Pool will take place from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. with the 4th of July activities happening between noon and 4 p.m. Grab your swimsuit and we'll see you there! Please note daily fees will apply for residents and non-residents. Entry is free for season pool pass holders.

Celebrate freedom in The Woodlands with great food, live entertainment and family fun at multiple locations around The Woodlands! The event culminates with one of the largest fireworks displays in the Greater Houston area.

Enjoy a variety of activities throughout The Woodlands at the below locations! All sites will feature live music beginning at 6 p.m. with bands playing until the Fireworks Extravaganza at approximately 9:30 p.m. For the comfort and safety of all attendees, oversized beach umbrellas and pop-up tents are not permitted at the Festival.

 Level One Band (Motown/Funk)

Festival activities include fireworks, strolling entertainment, concessions and live music.

Residents should be advised Northshore Park access will be affected on the following dates for the event:

    • Limited to minimal vehicular traffic July 2 through 3 to begin event preparations and set up. 
    • The park will be closed to the public from 6 to 9 a.m. on July 2 to accommodate further set up. 
    • No vehicular access on July 4 for safety and security, reopening on July 5 with limited vehicular access.
    • Majority of the docks at Northshore Park will be unavailable June 23 through July 8.

Rob Fleming Park Festival Location (6055 Creekside Forest Drive)
~WEATHER UPDATE~ The Rob Fleming event site for the Red, Hot & Blue Festival is currently on delayed start due to inclement weather. Staff will begin the event once conditions improve. Please continue to monitor this page for updates.

Hughes Landing Festival Location (1900 Hughes Landing Boulevard)

Festival activities include fireworks and live music. Please note there may be limited visibility of the primary displays at Hughes Landing due to trees and buildings.

Fireworks Launch Locations
The 18-minute Fireworks Extravaganza will take place at approximately 9:30 p.m. The primary fireworks display will be located in Lake Woodlands adjacent to Northshore Park, with a secondary close-proximity (special effects) display at Town Green Park. The 2021 Fireworks Extravaganza will also feature a fireworks display in the Waterway Square District near Timberloch Place and Waterway Avenue and Rob Fleming Park in the Village of Creekside Park. To ensure spectators have the best fireworks visibility possible, fireworks teaser shots will be fired from all launch locations at 9, 9:10 and 9:20 p.m.

Event-goers and spectators are encouraged to experience both the sights and sounds of the Fireworks Extravaganza by tuning in to KSTAR Country 99.7 FM to broadcast the soundtrack live on www.kstarcountry.com or by downloading the app. The app can be found by searching "KSTAR Country Radio" in the App Store or on Google Play.

Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited. Those planning to attend the event should practice social distancing, refrain from gathering in large groups and continue following all guidelines established by the CDC when in public spaces and around others outside of your household. Masks are welcomed. Please note all information is subject to change, pending local, state and federal Orders or Declarations.
