THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (May 19, 2017) – The Woodlands Township reminds residents that all solid waste services in the community will occur as usual on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29, 2017. There will be no interruption or delay of services. Waste Management will provide curbside pickup of trash, recycling and yard trimmings to residents on their regular service day.
The only holidays that will affect residential trash and recycling collection in 2017 are Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23, 2017, and Christmas Day, Monday, December 25, 2017.
Residents are reminded to be a good neighbor over the holiday weekend; please keep streets clear of parked cars on trash days to prevent blocked streets and missed pickups.
If your holiday gathering generates more trash than your 96-gallon cart can hold, extra service tags are available for purchase for $1.75 each at Township offices, Kroger and Randall’s. One pink service tag must be affixed to each plastic bag of household trash that will not fit into the trash cart.
