THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (June 7, 2018) – Looking for something to do on a warm Saturday night? Cool off at the pool and catch a family-friendly movie at the same time. The Woodlands Township’s Aquatics Division will be showing Disney’s “Moana” (2016) on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the Wendtwoods Pool located in the Village of Creekside Park, 8950 Creekside Green Drive, about one mile west of Kuykendahl Road.
The Wendtwoods Pool will close for normal hours of operation at 8 p.m. and the gates will re-open for the movie by 8:15 p.m. The movie will start at about 8:30 p.m., or dusk. “Moana” has a running time of one hour 53 minutes. The movie is expected to end around 10:30 p.m.
Admission to the movie is $5 per person (children 3 and under are free). Cash, credit card, and check are accepted at the desk. Free admission will be extended to all Season Pass holders.
For everyone’s safety, Township lifeguards will be present at their usual stations for the duration of the movie. The play structure may be turned off during the movie if necessary. Cold concessions will be available, for sale by Orange Leaf of Indian Springs.
This event will be the first of two Dive-In Movies shown by the Township during summer 2018. The second event will be held at the newly-renovated Bear Branch Pool on July 14, 2018, as they present, “Leap.” Bear Branch Pool is located at 5200 Research Forest Drive in the Village of Cochran’s Crossing.
