The Woodlands Ice Rink offers special holiday performances, hours

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (December 19, 2019) – The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center will be open for special holiday hours as schools let out for the holiday break. New this season, The Ice Rink will offer interactive ice princess visits featuring an indoor snowfall with a live vocal performance on select days.

The Ice Rink will be open on school holidays, Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. (open until 11 p.m. on Fridays), Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Christmas Day from 2 to 8 p.m., New Year’s Eve from noon to 1 a.m., and New Year’s Day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. School holidays are based on the Conroe ISD calendar. The 2019-2020 ice-skating season concludes Monday, January 20, 2020.

Interactive ice princess visits featuring an indoor snowfall will take place several times throughout the holiday season. All performances will take place after the ice is refreshed.

  • Saturday, December 21, 2019: Noon and 2 p.m. (Featuring a live vocal performance)
  • Sunday, December 22, 2019: 2 and 4 p.m.
  • Monday, December 23, 2019: 1 and 3 p.m.

The Ice Rink is located at 2005 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77380. Featuring ice skating in a main room with lighting, a state-of-the-art sound system, spectator tables, and concessions, The Ice Rink is available for parties, corporate gatherings and other events. Admission for a two-hour skate session is $12.50 for adults and $6 for children 5 and under. Price includes skate rental.

The Ice Rink provides a unique outing for families, friends, couples and groups. Don't skate? Enjoy a variety of food and beverages, available for purchase from the concessions counter, while others in your party are on the ice. Spectator tables are available in the rink on a first-come, first-served basis with the option to rent in advance.

The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center is produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department and sponsored by Texas Children’s Hospital – The Woodlands, Market Street – The Woodlands, The Howard Hughes Corporation®, Coca-Cola and The Strong Firm P.C.
