THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (March 30, 2021) – The Woodlands Township reminds residents that all solid waste services in the community will occur as usual over the Easter holiday. There will be no interruption or delay of solid waste services including curbside pickup of trash, recycling, yard trimmings or scheduled bulky trash due to the holiday weekend. All services will occur on all regular service days, including Friday, April 2, 2021.
The Woodlands Recycling Center on Research Forest Drive will be open during regular hours: Wednesday, March 31, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
For trouble-free service, please keep streets clear of parked cars to allow trucks to safely access carts. Place carts at the curb before 7 a.m. and make sure that cart lids close completely.
Failure to follow all service guidelines will result in items being left at the curb.
Per the Township’s holiday trash collection schedule, the only holidays that will affect residential trash and recycling service are New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
