THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (October 20, 2020) – Due to unprecedented early voting turnout at the George Mitchell Library in Sterling Ridge, The Woodlands Township’s Trick or Treat Trail Drive-Thru Event has been relocated to the Sawdust Park and Ride, located at 701 Westridge Road in The Woodlands, TX 77380.
The drive-thru event will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2020.
With the previous event location (Sterling Ridge Park and Ride) being adjacent to an early voting polling location, along with recent patterns of high traffic for early voting, the relocation will avoid potential voter impact to access the facility. Attendees must access the Sawdust Park and Ride from South Park Drive. All event traffic attempting to enter Westridge Road from Budde Road will be rerouted.
Trick-or-Treat Trail is free to the public and participants will receive giveaways, goodies and candies from local vendors and organizations. For the safety of all attendees and event volunteers, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Costume contests will now take place virtually. Participants are only allowed to compete in one costume contest and prizes will be awarded to the top three costumes per contest. View the Virtual Costume Contest Entry Form for more information.
Due to the modified nature of the event, food and beverage vendors will not be accepted at this time. If you would like to become a vendor, limited space is still available! Please view the Vendor Application & Agreement form for more information.
Trick-or-Treat Trail is produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department and is sponsored The Howard Hughes Corporation®.
