Filing for February Elections

More than 100 positions will be up for election in February to serve on The Woodlands Residential Design Review Committees and the Village Associations. Filing for all of these positions begins Thursday, December 26, 2019, and ends Thursday, January 16, 2020, at 5 p.m., for the February 2020 election. No forms will be accepted after the 5 p.m. deadline. READ ON

Neighborhood Watch Wins National Award

The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Watch earned First Place in Category #2 for Populations 100,000 to 300,000, from The National Association of Town Watch, for their 2019 National Night Out Campaign. National Night Out is a community-building campaign designed to raise awareness of crime and drug prevention, generate support for local anti-crime efforts and strengthen police-community partnerships. Spring 2020 Action Guide is online now

The Spring 2020 Action Guide is now available for download. The Action Guide is filled with classes, activities, sports, concerts, events and more for the entire family. Registration for Spring 2020 programs opens on Monday, December 9, 2019. The print version of the Action Guide will be included in the January 2020 issue of The Woodlands Community Magazine. READ ON

Solid waste services affected by the holidays

In observance of the Christmas and New Year holidays, there will be no solid waste collection services on Wednesday, December 25, 2019, or Wednesday, January 1, 2020. All services are affected: trash, recycling, yard trimmings, bulk pickup and Simple Recycling (orange textile bags). READ ON
