Filing for February Elections

More than 100 positions will be up for election in February to serve on The Woodlands Residential Design Review Committees and the Village Associations. Filing for all of these positions ends on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at 5 p.m., for the February 2020 election. No forms will be accepted after the 5 p.m. deadline. READ ON

The Ice Rink 

Skate at The Ice Rink before it melts away! The Ice Rink will close for the season on Monday, January 20, 2020. The Ice Rink is located at 2005 Lake Robbins Drive at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion multi-purpose building/event center on the northwest side of The Pavilion at the corner of Lake Robbins and Six Pines. The 21,000-square-foot permanent multipurpose facility features ice skating in a main room with lighting, a state-of-the-art sound system, tables for parties and concessions. Arbor Day in The Woodlands

The Woodlands annual Arbor Day Tree Giveaway is set for Saturday, January 25, 2020, from 9 a.m. to noon at its new location at Northshore Park, 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive. The Woodlands is celebrating its 44th year of giving away seedlings, making it one of the longest-standing community traditions. This is a free event for Woodlands residents, and early arrival is encouraged for the best selection of seedlings. Attendees are also advised to bring a reusable bag to help transport new seedlings home from the park. READ ON
