Learn to Kayak at Riva Row Boat House

Riva Row Boat House will host a Learn to Kayak program on three Sundays in February, beginning on Sunday, February 9, 2020. Riva Row will provide all the equipment and training. Classes begin on Sundays at 10 a.m. and will last approximately two hours, including some on-land instruction time. Each class will build on existing skills as the month progresses, but drop-ins are welcome on individual dates. Online registration is available now. READ ON

Arts in the Park to feature Youth Art Contest

The Spring Arts in the Park festival is set for Saturday, March 14, 2020, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Rob Fleming Park, located at 6055 Creekside Forest Drive in The Woodlands, TX 77389. This year the Youth Art Contest will return for young artists. Young artist submissions will be accepted until 5 p.m. on March 8, 2020, and the entry form can be found on the Township website. The Youth Art Contest is open to artists 18 years and under and includes three age categories: 7 years and younger, 8 to 12 years and 13 to 18 years old.
