Board of Directors Holds First Virtual Meeting
The Woodlands Township Board of Directors held its first ever public meeting via videoconference at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2020. The Directors primarily discussed the Township’s response to COVID-19 and unanimously voted to defer the planning process of The Woodlands future governance.

The Woodlands Township Board of Directors will continue to hold virtual meetings on a weekly basis throughout the duration of the COVID-19 situation. Information about upcoming meetings will be shared as it becomes available. Meeting agendas are posted online in advance of Board meetings.

The Woodlands Township has created a COVID-19 page on the website with updates from partner agencies, links to local health authorities and an archive with Township communications related to COVID-19. Please visit www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/covid19 for more information.

Additionally, the Township publishes and emails regular updates regarding COVID-19 in Texas and the surrounding communities of Montgomery and Harris Counties. Please subscribe to these regular updates by signing up for Talk of the Township or Communitywide Emergency Notifications at www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/notifyme. The Township also encourages residents to stay informed by following Township social media accounts. 

Residents are encouraged to follow the Centers for Disease Control (CDC)’s prevention strategies regarding Coronavirus. If you suspect you are ill, please stay home except to seek medical care to prevent the spread of illness. Please visit www.cdc.gov/COVID19 for more information.
