Board of Directors Virtual Meeting
The Woodlands Township Board of Directors held a Special Board of Directors Meeting via videoconference on Thursday, April 9, 2020, at 6 p.m. The meeting can be viewed online at http://www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/778/Meeting-Videos.

Help Our Heroes
The Woodlands Township Board of Directors has launched the Help Our Heroes campaign to collect crucial Personal Protection Equipment (PPEs) supplies for local first responders and hospitals.

Supplies needed include: isolation gowns, masks (N95s, surgical, procedure, face shields, or any type), gloves, hair covers, PAPR hoods (these are typically only used when doing an aerosolizing procedure), eyewear such as face shields, reusable goggles or disposable glasses, boot and shoe covers, germicidal wipes, disinfectant spray, paper towels.

Collection times are Mondays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Central Fire Station. View the Help Our Heroes flyer.

Serve the Community While Social Distancing

If you are looking for a relaxing activity to make a positive impact on your community while practicing the CDC’s recommendation of social distancing, consider cleaning up litter along your regular walking route, local green belts and your neighborhood. All litter, big and small, is not only unsightly, it has serious environmental consequences, that can be easily prevented. READ ON
