Township Board of Directors Holds Videoconference Meeting
The Woodlands Township Board of Directors approved an implementation plan to open seven (7) swimming pools to start the summer based on the availability of lifeguards during its regular meeting via videoconference at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2020. The Board also recognized The Woodlands High School Choir and took action on a number of other items on the Regular Agenda.

Pollinators Village Challenge
Residents are invited to register their garden or yard and to share what actions they have taken to protect bees, butterflies, moths and other pollinators. Registered gardens or yards should provide for these basic needs of pollinators: food, shelter, water and a chemical-free space for pollinators to thrive. The Garden Registration form can be found at www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/plantforpollinators.

Farmer’s Market Now Open
After many weeks of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Woodlands Farmer’s Market is now open! The opening will occur in phases and Phase I will include only food and produce vendors. Phase II will be determined at a later date. Best practices from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines will be in place for all visitors and vendors. Please get more information online from the Grogan’s Mill Village Association.

What’s Open Now – What’s Opening Soon
The Woodlands has re-opened certain amenities and recreational areas, pursuant to Governor Abbott’s plan for the re-opening of Texas, and more are scheduled to open soon. Among those opening are seven of the Township pools and Texas TreeVentures on June 6, 2020!
