The Woodlands Township Board of Directors held a regular meeting on Thursday, August 20, 2020, at 6 p.m. The meeting was held via videoconference.

The Board will hold a Budget Meeting at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2020. The meeting will be followed by a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Both meetings will be held via videoconference. READ ON

Township launches #SitSafe Transit Initiative
With safety protocols as a top priority, The Woodlands Township has launched a new video and social media campaign regarding The Woodlands Express Park and Ride buses and The Woodlands Waterway Trolleys. The initiative, called #SitSafe, focuses on the use of sanitization, personal protection equipment and social distancing to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health of Township Transit riders. Fall Sweep Scheduled for September 5, 2020
The Township invites residents to help beautify their community on Saturday, September 5, 2020, as part of the community litter cleanup project, GreenUp: Fall Sweep. This is a socially-distanced, self-guided volunteer opportunity for individuals and family groups to target litter on pathways, waterways and natural areas. Registration is not required. READ ON

Township to Host Patriot Day, First Responders Day 
The Woodlands Township and the Township Board of Directors will host two ceremonies in honor of the fallen and in recognition of first responders on Friday, September 11, 2020. The community is invited to attend both events. Please note all information is subject to change, pending local, state and federal Orders or Declarations.  READ ON
