National Night Out drive-thru event on October 11
National Night Out, the annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships as well as crime and drug prevention awareness, will have a new look this year. To keep neighbors safe amid the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, neighborhood block parties and social gatherings will be replaced with a public safety drive-thru event. It is set for Sunday, October 11, 2020, from 2 to 5 p.m. READ ON

Healthy Lawns and Waterways Webinar

The Woodlands Township will host a free webinar on Saturday, October 3, 2020, entitled “Smarter Choices Webinar 2020: Healthy Landscapes, Healthy Waterways.” The event will be held from 8 a.m. to noon via videoconference. Township Environmental Services presents this webinar to assist residents in learning lawn care practices that save water and keep local waterways cleaner. READ ON

Take A (Virtual) Walk in the Woods

The Woodlands Township presents a virtual Walk in the Woods on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. Walk in the Woods: The Spring Creek Nature Trail and the Importance of Conservation with Bill Bass will feature geographer and conservation photographer Bill Bass and highlight the importance of preserving our natural spaces, specifically The Spring Creek Nature Trail. Registration is required for this event. READ ON
