Free COVID-19 Testing at Township -- NEW HOURS
The Woodlands Township is a host location for free COVID-19 testing performed by COVID-19 testing company, Curative, Inc. As of Thursday, November 5, 2020, the hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The walk-up testing will take place seven days a week at The Woodlands Township Town Hall, located at 2801 Technology Forest Blvd. The Woodlands, TX 77381 until future notice. READ ON

The Woodlands Township Veterans Day Tribute
The Woodlands Township will host a Veterans Day Tribute on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at 4:30 p.m. at Town Green Park. Lieutenant Colonel Barry Winnegan will serve as Keynote Speaker for the event. The tribute will feature a Presentation of Colors, musical performances, a swearing in ceremony for future soldiers and more. Those planning to attend the event should practice social distancing, refrain from gathering in large groups and continue following all guidelines established by the CDC when in public spaces and around others outside of your household. READ ON

Take A (Virtual) Walk in the Woods
The Woodlands Township presents a virtual Walk in the Woods on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. Walk in the Woods: Friends of Texas Wildlife features a presentation by Cathie Coudert on the importance of wildlife care and rehabilitation, what native creatures you may encounter and what you can do if you find an animal in need. Learn what programs and resources are available for you to help give wildlife a second chance and more about Friends of Texas Wildlife. Registration is required for this event. READ ON

Township 3R Drive-thru Recycling Event
The Woodlands Township is hosting the 3R Drive-thru Recycling Event from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, November 14, 2020, in the parking lot of The Woodlands High School (enter from Millennium Forest Drive) in The Woodlands, TX 77381. This event celebrates the importance of recycling in the community and offers a convenient and FREE opportunity to recycle items that cannot be recycled in curbside carts.
