The Ice Rink Opens Today

The Woodlands Township invites families and friends to enjoy seasonal ice skating in the 21,000-square-foot permanent multipurpose facility, located at 2005 Lake Robbins Drive near the intersection of Lake Robbins Drive and Six Pines Drive. The Ice Rink is open from November 20, 2020, through January 18, 2021. All visitors will be screened prior to entry and temperature checked. Lighting of the Doves

Celebrate the start of the holiday season at the annual Lighting of the Doves on Saturday, November 21, 2020, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Town Greek Park. Symbolizing peace during the holidays, the ceremonial illumination of the giant doves has attracted thousands of visitors each year. This year's event, modified for COVID-19, will be limited to Santa's arrival to Town Green Park, the dove lighting ceremony and fireworks.

Woodlands Online will be providing a live video broadcast of Santa’s arrival to Town Green Park, which will begin at approximately 7 p.m. on www.woodlandsonline.com. Additionally, the event will be streamed remotely at Northshore Park (2505 Lake Woodlands Drive) and Waterway Square (31 Waterway Square Place) starting at 7 p.m. Santa is estimated to arrive to Town Green Park at approximately 7:15 p.m. with the dove lighting and fireworks display beginning at 7:30 p.m. READ ON

COVID-19 Testing - Insurance Now Accepted
Testing is taking place at The Woodlands Township Town Hall, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., The Woodlands, Texas 77381. As part of the COVID-19 testing, customers will now be asked to submit their insurance information when scheduling a test. Testing is still offered at no cost to the patient. Customers without insurance will still be tested at no personal cost using coverage from the CARES Act.

Wednesday, November 25, 2020 – 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Thanksgiving Recycling and Trash Service 

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, The Woodlands Township reminds residents that there will be no solid waste collection services on Thursday, November 26, 2020. Curbside service will resume on Friday, November 27, 2020. READ ON
