February Election Filing Begins December 30, 2021

More than 100 positions will be up for election in February to serve on The Woodlands Residential Design Review Committees and the Village Associations.  Filing for all of these positions begins Thursday, December 30, 2021, and ends Thursday, January 20, 2022, at 5 p.m., for the February 2022 election. No forms will be accepted after the 5 p.m. deadline. READ MORE  

Township Holiday Closures

The Woodlands Township will be closed on Friday, December 24, 2021; Monday, December 27, 2021; and Monday, January 3, 2022, in observance of the holidays.

Solid Waste Services Not Impacted by Holidays

There will be no interruption in solid waste services in The Woodlands during the Christmas and New Year holidays. All services will occur on their regularly scheduled service day including trash, recycling, yard trimmings and bulky trash pick-up. READ MORE

The Ice Rink Offers Holiday Hours, Performances

The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center, produced by The Woodlands Township and presented by Woodforest National Bank, will be open for special holiday hours as schools let out for the holiday break. Throughout the holiday season, The Ice Rink will offer interactive ice princess visits featuring an indoor snowfall on select days. New for this season, Cookies and Hot Chocolate with Santa will be available for families to enjoy. READ MORE
