Township Board of Directors Holds Special Meeting
The Woodlands Township Board of Directors held a public Special Board Meeting on December 29, 2021 to discuss future leadership plans for the organization.

Ms. Monique Sharp was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and to Interim President and General Manager. Ms. Sharp joined The Woodlands team 29 years ago and her experience with the organization will be invaluable in her new roles. WATCH ONLINE | READ MORE

February Election Filing Underway Now

More than 100 positions will be up for election in February to serve on The Woodlands Residential Design Review Committees and the Village Associations. Filing for all of these positions ends Thursday, January 20, 2022, at 5 p.m., for the February 2022 election. No forms will be accepted after the 5 p.m. deadline. READ MORE  

Waste Service Update

Waste Management has reported service delays for Wednesday, January 5 through Friday, January 7, 2022. Staff shortages due to COVID are causing the delays. To service all homes this week, Waste Management will collect as late as 7 p.m. Please leave recycling, trash and yard waste containers at the curb until service has occurred. READ MORE

Skate The Ice Rink Before It Melts Away
The Woodlands Township invites residents and visitors alike to enjoy the Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center, 2005 Lake Robbins Drive. The Ice Rink is open daily through January 17, 2022. Hurry in before it melts away for the season! READ MORE

COVID-19 Update

The Woodlands Township encourages residents to stay safe during the latest increase of COVID-19 cases due to the omicron variant. Ways to stay healthy include social distancing in public spaces, wearing a face covering when possible, practicing good hand hygiene and staying home if you feel unwell.
