Township Holds Meeting, Reads Proclamations, Plans to Help Residents with Noise and Water Issues
The Woodlands Township Board of Directors held a Regular Meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2022, at the office of The Woodlands Township, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., The Woodlands, Texas 77381, and recognized national events with proclamations.

In addition, the Board addressed resident concerns with noise complaints at Northshore Park, water and silt mitigation issues at Lake Voyager and transportation planning, among other items.

Traffic Impact Advisory for Saturday, April 23

Residents are advised to be aware of potential traffic impacts around The Woodlands on Saturday, April 23, 2022, due to the Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Texas. Emergency Supply Prep Sales Tax Holiday

Prepare yourself during the 2022 Emergency Preparation Supplies Sales Tax Holiday for emergencies that can cause physical damage like hurricanes, flash floods and wildfires. This year’s holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2022, and ends at midnight on Monday, April 25, 2022. Certain emergency preparation supplies can be purchased tax free during the sales tax holiday. There is no limit on the number of qualifying items you can purchase. READ MORE

Join Neighborhood Watch for Safe Driving Event

Township Neighborhood Watch invites you and your young driver to attend a safe driving event on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at College Park High School, 3701 College Park Drive, from 6 to 8 p.m. This event features presentations by those affected by distracted driving incidents along with hands-on activities. Parks and Recreation Needs Assessment Underway

The Woodlands Township invites community members to participate in a Parks and Recreation Needs Assessment survey to gather community input for the Parks and Recreation Department. Survey questions include specifics related to sports fields, parks, pools, trails and amenities. The public input survey is only available online until May 16, 2022, at www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/recreationsurveys. READ MORE
