At its regular meeting on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, The Woodlands Township Board of Directors recognized several groups with proclamations and accepted a donation from Waste Management to enhance environmental education in the community. In addition, the Board addressed issues related to transportation, security and other matters.

Volunteers Needed for Storm Drain Marking Project

The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department, in partnership with all the MUDs within the Township, invites residents to volunteer in the Storm Drain Marking Project. The Township’s Environmental Services Department is recruiting volunteers to mark all 14,000 storm drains in the community. The Woodlands Township invites community members to participate in a Parks and Recreation Needs Assessment survey to gather community input for the Parks and Recreation Department. Survey questions include specifics related to sports fields, parks, pools, trails and amenities.
