Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is proposing improvements to SH 242 from FM 1488 to I-45 in Montgomery County. TxDOT has extended the close of the public comment period to Thursday, August 15, 2022. To give public comment, residents must submit a comment card to TxDOT. Cards may be completed online at the provided link and mailed to the address on the card or emailed to hou-piowebmail@txdot.gov. Comments received or postmarked by the August 15 deadline will be included as part of the official meeting record.

Vote for The Woodlands in Perk Your Park Contest

The Woodlands Township has an opportunity to receive financial support in constructing a dual-purpose bird blind (a structure that allows for viewing birds without being noticed by the birds) through the Perk Your Park Contest by Niagara Water. Township Pools Begin Post-season on August 10

The Woodlands Township post-season pool schedule begins on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. Residents and visitors are welcome to continue their swimming fun for a few more weeks before the pools close for the season on September 5, 2022. READ MORE

COVID-19 Testing Extended to December
The Woodlands Township is a host location for COVID-19 testing provided by Curative, Inc. Testing has been extended through December 31, 2022, and takes place seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Bear Branch location is by appointment only. Walk-ups welcome at Rob Fleming and Sterling Ridge. The entire Curative test is performed without having to come into close contact with others. READ MORE
