WFD Opens Recruitment for New Fire Company

The Woodlands Fire Department has opened recruitment for a new fire company to serve western portions of The Woodlands. The recruitment requires hiring of 16 new cadets by the end of January 2023. Candidates must hold a Structural Firefighter Certification from the Texas Commission on Fire Protection and must be certified as an EMT-B or higher by the Texas Department of State Health Services.  READ MORE

Arts in the Park Features Renaissance Faire

The Woodlands Township Arts in the Park program features The Woodlands Renaissance Faire on Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 4 to 9 p.m. at Rob Fleming Park, 6055 Creekside Forest Drive. The event will feature live musical and theater performances by local artists and The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra players. Neighborhood Watch Hosts Car Seat Check Event

As part of the National Night Out program, Township Neighborhood Watch will offer free car seat checks on Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Central Fire Station, 9951 Grogan's Mill Road. Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will work one on one with you to show you proper installation and harnessing of your child's car seat. To book your appointment, please call 832-824-3481.  READ MORE
