Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas Traffic Impact

The 17th annual Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas 10-mile road race, 6th annual 3.1 Armadillo Run 5K and 15th annual One 4 Texas Kids’ Fun Run is set for Saturday, October 8, 2022, beginning at 7 a.m. To ensure runner and spectator safety, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office will be responsible for closing and reopening lanes on streets along the race route. There will be a police officer at every intersection along the race route, and deputies will attempt to allow cars through, if and when there is a safe opportunity. Proper planning and awareness of lane closure schedules should help alleviate any major interruptions. READ MORE

Township Presents Sunset Cinema

The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department, in partnership with the Texas Recreation and Park Society, presents a free movie night event, Sunset Cinema: Deep in the Heart, on Friday, October 14, 2022.  Join us under the stars at the outdoor amphitheater located at the Rob Fleming Park Recreation Center, 6464 Creekside Forest Dr., for an educational and fun-filled evening starting at 6:30 p.m., featuring wildlife-themed outdoor booths, games, and trivia fun, followed by the movie at 7:30 p.m. READ MORE
