The Woodlands Township Board of Directors Meeting

The Woodlands Township Board of Directors held a regular meeting on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. The Board discussed numerous topics including updates from Law Enforcement, Visit The Woodlands, Township departments and village associations in addition to expansion plans for Texas TreeVentures, and an agreement with Harris County for joint funding of improvements to the Spring Creek Greenway. The Board of Directors also issued three proclamations in recognition of Veterans Day, Small Business Saturday and The Woodlands Recycles Day.  READ MORE

Township Wins 2022 Niagara Perk Your Park Contest

The Woodlands Township has been selected as one of three winners in the 2022 Niagara Perk Your Park Contest from Niagara water, through its charitable program, Niagara Cares, and in partnership with National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA). The $75,000 award is designated to the construction of a bird blind and outdoor classroom at George Mitchell Nature Preserve.
The Niagara Perk Your Park Project is an initiative that focuses on park and community space revitalization across the country.  READ MORE

The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park is open and celebrating Halloween this year and you are invited! Township to Host Veterans Day Tribute

The Woodlands Township will host a Veterans Day Tribute on Friday, November 11, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. at Town Green Park, 2099 Lake Robbins Dr. The event will feature a presentation of colors, musical performances, Keynote Speaker and more. A special military Care Package Drop-Off Booth will be set up during the Veterans Day Tribute to accept donations of recommended items to be shipped to the troops.  READ MORE

Residents Invited to 3R Recycling Drive-thru Event

The Township invites residents to celebrate America Recycles Day by bringing select items for a free, one-day collection at the 3R Recycling Drive-thru located at The Woodlands High School on Saturday, November 12, 2022, 9 a.m. to noon. The items collected at this event do not belong in your curbside recycling cart but can be recycled at this event or at a local drop-off location year-round.  READ MORE
