Ironman Texas: Avoid Travel Delays

Community Pools Open Tomorrow

The 2016 pool season begins this weekend with nine of the Township's 14 community pools set to open tomorrow, May 7, 2016. Pre-season facilities will be open through May 30, 2016, from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and 1 to 6 p.m. on Sundays. To reduce mosquitoes after the recent rains, The Township urges residents to eliminate standing water in their yards. Residents are also encouraged to turn irrigation systems off for at least seven days following heavy rains as overwatering remains a major factor in the proliferation of mosquitoes in the community. For more than 20 years, Waste Management has provided trash, recycling and educational services to The Woodlands community.
