Board of Directors Holds Meeting 

On Thursday, May 19, 2016, The Woodlands Township Board of Directors held a regular meeting and addressed a variety of topics, including the approval of a revised 2016 Pool Schedule. Immediately following, the Board held a Planning Session and reviewed proposed 2017 Budget Objectives. Both meetings can be watched on the Township website. Emergency Preparedness in The Woodlands
In recognition of Hurricane Preparedness Week, residents of The Woodlands are encouraged to develop emergency preparedness plans for their families and neighbors. The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Watch, along with The Woodlands Fire Department, can assist residents with these plans through its Get-Ready – The Woodlands program, which provides information on how to be equipped for both natural and manmade disasters.

Residents are also encouraged to attend the free Emergency Preparedness Event on Saturday, June 4, 2016, for demonstrations and information to help families prepare for any type of emergency.

All are welcome to join the Township and Bike The Woodlands Coalition tomorrow for the biggest event of Bike Month 2016!  Celebrate Bike The Woodlands Day at Whole Foods Market in Hughes Landing and enjoy exhibitor booths, join a bike maintenance demo, participate in a scavenger hunt and more! From 8 a.m. to noon, six neighborhood hub locations across The Woodlands will be offering light refreshments at a discount for those wishing to ride closer to home. READ ON...
