Celebrate Parks and Recreation Month 

The Woodlands Township Board of Directors recently declared July to be Parks and Recreation Month in support of The Woodlands' community pools and spraygrounds, 133 parks, more than 210 miles of pathway, countless greenbelts, Recreation Center and two boat houses. The Township encourages residents and visitors to get out and explore the hundreds of activities and leisure experiences available in the community. READ ON...

Summer Fun on Lake Woodlands

The Woodlands Township is home to two unique boathouses on the waterfront of Lake Woodlands. Visit Lakes Edge Boat House or Riva Row Boat House this summer and create some great family memories on the water. Both boathouses are closed on Wednesdays but operate on weekends and holidays with extended rental hours during the summer. Season passes for the Township’s community pools are still available for purchase! Beat the heat this summer by tubing around the lazy river at Rob Fleming Aquatic Center or testing your skill on the climbing wall at Sawmill Pool. The Parks and Recreation Department offers three easy ways to purchase or renew a pool pass - online, in person at The Woodlands Township Recreation Center and over the phone by calling 281-210-3950.
